This longstanding tradition provides an opportunity for constituents to travel to Nashville and experience state government firsthand. Attendees will meet with key state leaders, including the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Comptroller, and Treasurer, as well as state agency heads and legislators.

This year’s District 87 Day on the Hill will coincide with Mem2Nash Day, bringing together leaders and residents from Memphis to advocate for policies impacting their communities.

When:Wednesday, February 26, 2025, beginning at 9:30 AM CST

Where:Tennessee State Capitol; 600 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd; Nashville, TN

Transportation:A bus will depart from Southland Mall at 5:30 AM and return at the end of the day.

This event serves as an invaluable experience for constituents to engage in the legislative process, interact with decision-makers, and voice their concerns on key issues affecting District 87.
