Based on a true story, Sound of Freedom tells the gut-wrenching story of a brother and sister — Miguel and Rocío Aguilar — who were abducted and sold to be used as sex slaves … taken by organized criminals who tricked their father.

Sound of Freedom was a box office hit and gave us the platform to spread awareness about children who must be rescued from unimaginably horrific realities.

Now, through The Sound of Freedom Foundation, we identify and track cases of child abduction and trafficking, and we tirelessly search for and rescue defenseless victims.

Shockingly, the average age of victims is 12 years old and 79% of all human trafficking cases are for sexual exploitation.
