It's time for True Texas Project’s Texas Tough Gala! Each year, we make it our mission to outdo ourselves. With so much to celebrate in 2025, we are excited to share the best Texas Tough with you yet!
Texas Tough celebrates all things Texas, from rich, heroic history to boot scootin’! Most importantly, we celebrate Texas Independence and pay tribute to the brave Texians who secured our independence at San Jacinto 189 years ago.
This year, the Gala will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at River Ranch Stockyards in Fort Worth.
The VIP Reception is 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Dinner and our special program will begin at 7:00 pm, featuring actor Kevin Sorbo!
Hear Sorbo’s inspiring story of how he escaped Hollywood to become a successful actor and director in the evangelical film industry, and enjoy dinner with some of the best patriots in Texas.
But wait! There’s more! After dinner, we will shoot off fireworks and cannons - replicas of the Twin Sister cannons that won the battle from the final victory battle!
Last but definitely not least, we will tie up the evening at our after-party — Scoot, Shoot, & Shuffle — complete with live music, dancing, cards, dominoes, and even a quick-draw contest.
