2024 Year in Review

Wow, what a year! The Evergreen Fair Park attracted more than 370,000 visitors throughout 2024.That is a little over *5 Lumen Field Stadiums* of people! We had a lot to celebrate in 2024; here are some highlights.

2024 Fair attendance:* 232,168*, a *1.5% increase* from 2023. *Vendors* participating in the fair were up *4.9%*. *1,500* exhibitors entered *19,000* exhibits into fair; that is a lot of ribbons! We saw an increase in *concert attendance* as well as a *13.6%* increase in presale admission and wristbands. The Fair Food Drive raised *16,795lbs* of food for those in need and the Rodeo Pass the Boot raised *$5,252.62 *for the American Cancer Society, USO and Cowboy Crisis Fund. 

In addition to the 11-day fair, the Evergreen State Fair Park hosted the first Holiday Spark in December 2024 along with 600 non-fair events bringing in more than* 140,000 people* who visited the fairgrounds. Events like The Great Junk Hunt, indoor motorsports, equestrian shows, Oddmall Emporium for the Weird, and the Monroe Auto Swap significantly impacted the local economy and supported hotels, restaurants and shopping in Snohomish County. 

None of this would be possible without you, our partners and staff. We are looking forward to 2025, with more events, the 2025 Evergreen State Fair and another Holiday Spark.

Event Highlight: The Washington Prospectors Mining Association Gold, Gem and Mineral Show

This weekend, February 15-16, is the 29th annual WPMA Gold, Gem and Mineral Show. This show has over 40 vendors selling mining equipment, gemstones, jewelry and minerals from around the world. Along with the vendors there will be presentations and seminars on gemstones, metal detecting and what is happening with the future of mining in Washington State. 

The Washington Prospectors Mining Association hosts this event. WPMA is the largest non-profit mining association in the state of Washington. The association promotes and supports prospecting and mining for all weekend, part time, and small scale miners and prospectors. Membership is open to anyone interested in prospecting and mining for gold and other precious gems and minerals.

*Admission* is $5: Children 13 years and under are free with paid adult.
