Friend,
For months now, I’ve been very honest about my top priority for this year’s legislative session in Georgia:
Leveling the playing field in our courtrooms.
The status quo is a hidden tax on consumers, driving up rates and costs.
Our legal climate has allowed frivolous lawsuits to run wild in our state, and it’s hurting consumers, families, small businesses, and workers.
Alongside Governor Kemp and other state leaders, we set out to change things. First, we listened. Now, we’re taking action.
This week, the plan cleared the Senate Judiciary Committee — the first step on the road to victory.
This is going to be a long process that’ll likely come down to the wire, but with continued input and support from folks across Georgia who know something has to change, I’m confident we’ll get it done.
Thanks for continuing to stand with us.
