 Y’all, Donald Trump may be President, but it’s clear who holds the real power in his administration: Elon Musk. And even though no one elected Elon Musk, it’s not hard to see why Republicans in Congress, like our very own Senator Ted Cruz, refuse to stand up to his unconstitutional abuses of power:
Rather than defending our democracy and the functioning of our government, extremists like Ted Cruz are bending over backwards to justify Elon’s power grab. That’s because they rely on his cash to stay in power, win re-election, and keep their cushy jobs in Washington. That’s not how our democracy is supposed to function. Unelected billionaires with a radical, far-right agenda should not be handed the reins of government simply because they bought their way into power. But as long as spineless “leaders” like Ted Cruz represent us in the Senate, nothing will ever change, and no one will stand up to Elon Musk.
