John, did you know that one in five adults now live with diabetes or prediabetes ( [link removed] )? That’s why we want to let the Prime Minister and Health Secretary know why diabetes needs to be one of their top priorities.
The government will be publishing their 10-Year Health Plan for England this Spring. It’s crucial that the plan includes a commitment to ongoing improvements in care for people with all types of diabetes. This includes urgently identifying those with pre-diabetes and those who have undiagnosed type 2 diabetes and ensure they have the support and care they need.

If you live with diabetes and are considering fasting during Ramadan, we have lots of resources and advice to help, including bitesize videos and advice on healthier food and drink choices. We’ve worked with the British Islamic Medical Association to produce free resources to support you through Ramadan including videos, multilingual factsheets and an online guide.
