This event will take place on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 7:00pm ET via Zoom, and it’s open to students and young professionals in the NeW Network. NeW supporters and friends are also welcome to join, regardless of age.

In Hillbilly Elegy, Vance shares his personal story of growing up in a struggling Appalachian family while exploring the broader social and economic challenges facing working-class communities. With honesty and insight, he dives into issues such as generational poverty, fading community ties, and the fight for a better future. It’s part memoir, part commentary on the struggles of the American dream.
