Friend, important elections across the state are coming soon, and before I ask for your support toward Win Wisconsin PAC's work to elect Democratic voices, I wanted to give you a real look at how high the stakes are:

It's been just over three weeks since Donald Trump began his second term in the White House, and we're already seeing GOP lawmakers in Wisconsin take notes from his playbook.

After we saw the new administration's mass deportation efforts in cities like Chicago, far-right extremists in the Assembly introduced legislation that would require Wisconsin law enforcement to cooperate with ICE — or face state aid cuts of up to 15%.

After we saw Donald Trump and Elon Musk unveil the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), the GOP-led Assembly introduced their Government Operations, Accountability and Transparency (GOAT) Committee, designed to "increase government efficiency" and "reduce spending" — of course, only as they see fit.

And just this week, after we saw Musk and the DOGE team cancel dozens of Department of Education contracts, there is no doubt that Trump's MAGA allies in our state will work hard to gut public school funding and funnel it into the hands of the rich and powerful.

Friend, this is horrifying, and as a wife, mother, and public servant, I cannot stand by as these extremists continue to make progress on their billionaire-first agenda.

Now is an especially important time to come together and stand behind true champions for our communities.

The team at Win Wisconsin PAC is working around the clock this year – and looking ahead to next year — to help Democrats across our state make big moves in their respective races. Will you join our people-powered movement with a donation today?
