The cowardly inaction of those leaders, bought and paid for by the gun lobby, is what has allowed hundreds of schools since then to experience the same pain and grief that my family knows all too well. And with Congress and the White House both controlled by anti-gun safety extremists, I fear that unless we, the people, make our voices heard by using our dollars, our time, and our votes to demand change, millions more people will suffer the consequences.

I know that we just had an election and that the midterms still feel far off, but, friend, the stakes are simply too high for us to wait until 2026 arrives to get started.
