For over 20 years, Humane Society Legislative Fund has been a leader in the animal protection movement, addressing cruelty for millions of animals around the world by passing animal protection laws at the state and federal levels, educating the public about animal protection issues and supporting humane candidates for office. To maximize our impact and help even more animals in need, no matter where they are, we are changing our name to Humane World Action Fund. 

Similarly, our affiliates, the Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society International are uniting their efforts under one new name that better reflects their increasingly global mission and reach: Humane World for Animals.

A shared global mission—united by a love for animals. This change does not require any action on your part. The lifesaving work you’ve come to know and love will continue in an even bigger way.  

Together with all our amazing supporters, we are uniting to build a stronger animal protection movement, helping animals who are suffering today and tackling the root causes of that suffering and cruelty, for a better tomorrow. The bottom line is: if you love animals, you’re a part of our world. Together, we are acting to end animal cruelty.
