Team — One of the proudest accomplishments of my administration has been making New York home to some of the world’s most cutting-edge technology manufacturing.

With support from the CHIPS and Science Act, New York has seen record investment for Micron’s manufacturing facility in upstate New York. Our state’s semiconductor industry is booming, and we’ve brought over $100 billion in investments to New York — more than any other state!

So when, last week, President Trump announced that he wanted to see a repeal of this act — which would risk 50,000 jobs and a $100 billion investment in Central New York — I immediately spoke out:

“That’s not how we do things here in New York. No matter what nonsense comes out of Washington, I’ll keep fighting to put money back in your pockets.”

From day one of my administration, I pledged that New York State would lead the charge to bring back advanced manufacturing and R&D to the U.S., creating good jobs and economic opportunity in the process.

We’ve done just that — but Donald Trump is threatening to unravel all of our progress.

Rest assured that I will fight back against any attempt to take away jobs from New Yorkers.
