Friend,
The Senate could vote as soon as today on a dangerous funding bill that
just passed the House – and tomorrow night’s deadline is the last chance
   to stop it.
This bill, backed by President Trump, proposes significant cuts to
essential programs like veterans’ benefits, disaster relief, aviation
safety, and cancer research – all to justify massive tax breaks for
billionaires. The legislation also strips away hundreds of specific
funding directives that normally ensure key programs receive the resources
they need, giving the administration far more discretion to shift
priorities and withhold funds from programs Trump and Musk oppose.
Congressional Democrats are fighting back. They’re leading the charge to
reassert Congress’s constitutional authority over federal spending,
ensuring taxpayer dollars are allocated as intended, not manipulated at
the discretion of Trump and Musk. But with the Senate vote imminent,
   there’s no time to waste.
[ [link removed] ]Call your senator now and demand they reject this reckless bill – and
ensure Congress, not Trump and Musk, controls how taxpayer dollars are
   spent. >>
If the Senate doesn’t reject this bill or pass these vital amendments,
   here’s what’s at stake:
🚨 Delayed Social Security checks for millions of seniors who rely on them
   to make ends meet.
🚨 FEMA funding cuts, leaving communities defenseless in the face of
   natural disasters.
🚨 Cancer research slashed, putting lifesaving treatments on the chopping
   block.
🚨 Less safe air travel, with cuts to aviation safety oversight.
🚨 $23 billion in veterans’ benefits eliminated, gutting healthcare and
support programs for those who served our country.
Congress – not Donald Trump and Elon Musk – has the constitutional
authority to decide how taxpayer dollars are spent. This is why it’s
urgent that the Senate blocks this dangerous bill and ensures funding
decisions remain in the hands of elected representatives, not billionaires
   and extremists.
[ [link removed] ]Call your senator now and tell them: Vote NO on this reckless bill and
support amendments that protect Congress’s authority over funding. >>
If Republicans wanted a responsible, bipartisan funding plan, they would
have proposed one. Instead, they’re ramming through brutal cuts that harm
working people while protecting the ultra-rich.
We cannot let them get away with this. The Senate vote is imminent –
[ [link removed] ]call now and demand your senator stand up for everyday Americans. >>
Every call makes a difference. Let’s fight back together.
