In case you missed it, Russell Vought, President Trump’s nominee to lead the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), was confirmed by a 53-47 vote in the Senate last Thursday night. This is bad news for our climate movement. The Trump Administration’s OMB has already put funding for critical programs that help families recover from climate disasters and save money with clean energy at risk. Vought was a chief architect of Project 2025, an extreme policy wish list that calls for a repeal of the Inflation Reduction Act’s clean energy incentives. Now that he’s confirmed to lead OMB, we have no doubt he will continue to push for these reckless policies and slow our progress on climate solutions. But we're not giving up and neither should you. Thousands of you called your representatives last week, flooding the phones of Congress. We need to keep this energy up. Thank you for all that you do, -Your friends at Climate Reality
