WisGOP News of the Week

Election Integrity remains a high focus for our team. Just this week, we sent out letters to all Municipal Clerks reminding them of their duty to appoint Republican poll workers.

This letter is intended to be a preventative measure addressing ongoing concerns over the appointment of Republican-nominated poll workers. The letter lays out the Election Integrity Team’s concerns regarding the recent trend of Republican-affiliated poll workers failing to be contacted and scheduled by their clerks to serve as partisan appointed poll workers for all elections in their two-year cycle (2024-2025).

Despite requirements relating to poll workers in Wisconsin State Statute 7.30, there has been an ongoing issue with the failure of clerks to uphold their duties by not contacting and scheduling all partisan-affiliated poll workers before resorting to those who are unaffiliated and non-party-appointed workers.

The letter was intended to serve two purposes:

Remind clerks of their duty to contact and schedule poll workers appointed by the two main political parties before using unaffiliated workers.Demonstrate the seriousness to which the Republican party takes and is willing to address the failure of clerks to uphold their duties by citing past cases where action was taken to ensure Republican workers were present at the polls.

Previously, Recker v. City of Appleton [[link removed]], highlighted that if Republicans are made available to work they must be given the opportunity to do so.

Further, Hendrickson v. City of Racine [[link removed]], enshrined the requirements to contact each and every political party nominee to see if and when they could be trained and what elections they can work through 2025. The Republican Party of Wisconsin will continue to fight for the right of Republicans to participate in the administration of our elections and our team takes this issue extremely seriously.

In Case You Missed It

ICYMI: [[link removed]] Protasiewicz Abuses the Court [[link removed]]

In case you missed it, Janet Protasiewicz refused to recuse herself from the Act 10 lawsuit. Protasiewicz’s abuse of the Supreme Court to legislate on Act 10 and advance dangeroulsy liberal policies is no surprise, she told us where she stood before she claimed her seat on Wisconsin’s highest court.

ICYMI: Crawford let a five-year-old girl’s rapist walk our streets after just two years. She ignored local parents’ pleads to relocate the criminal. We cannot trust Susan Crawford. [[link removed]]

In case you missed it, Susan Crawford lacks sound judgement, to say the least. In a case with one of the most heinous stories possible, Crawford let a repeat rapist off with a light sentence. In this particular barbaric case, the man was convicted of a class B felony; punishable up to 60 years in Wisconsin.

ICYMI: WISGOP Raises over $2.29 Million; Over 40-times improvement from 2023 [[link removed]]

“After historic wins in November, the Republican Party of Wisconsin has continued to receive vast support to elect conservatives at every level. Wisconsinites are standing up to Susan Crawford’s attempts to sell two congressional seats and legislate dangerously liberal policies from the bench,” stated Chairman Brian Schimming.

ICYMI: Susan Crawford is Exploiting Rape Victims [[link removed]]

Dangerously liberal Susan Crawford is cherry-picking statistics and exploiting thousands of rape victims from to hide from her disgraceful record of repeatedly protecting criminals.

ICYMI: Crawford DOUBLES DOWN to TMJ4 on Selling Congressional Seats [[link removed]]

In a stunning new interview, an emboldened Susan Crawford doubled down on her recent attempt to sell Wisconsin congressional seats to out-of-state billionaires in exchange for campaign donations. The brazen solicitation by Crawford raises not only serious judicial ethics questions, but reconfirms her extreme allegiance to rubber stamp the WisDems’ dangerously liberal agenda — from the bench. When asked if she regrets her salesmanship, Crawford told TMJ4, “I was happy to enter that call.”

ICYMI: Radical Crawford Would Destroy Wisconsin’s Popular Voter ID Law [[link removed]]

“This is not just about one candidate’s radical record – it’s about the future of fair elections in Wisconsin,” said Andrew Iverson, Executive Director for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “Susan Crawford’s disdain for a law that is supported by the overwhelming majority of Wisconsinites can’t be hidden. If elected, it’s nearly guaranteed Crawford and the liberal Supreme Court majority will dismantle this critical safeguard and jeopardize the integrity of our elections.”
