Well, it looks like that’s finally happening.
About a week ago, Attorney General Bondi ended the DOJ’s use of brutal sentencing to pressure citizens to plead guilty to crimes.
Here’s one of the big takeaways from her Feb. 6 memo:
“There is no room in plea bargaining for political animus or other hostility … Prosecutors may not use criminal charges to exert leverage to induce a guilty plea.”
As a friend of NCLU, you know Joe Biden’s DOJ piled brutal, excess criminal charges onto our J6 clients and other J6 prisoners.
You and I know many defendants were bulldozed into taking plea deals they never should have taken. They only took them because the DOJ threatened them with years, even decades, in prison.

President Trump’s pardon of J6 prisoners was a critical first step.
This new move by AG Bondi is a crucial second step.
But there’s so much work to do.
Right now,the lawless Deep State is defying President Trump, and refuses to release at least 11 pardoned J6 prisoners. Their agony and heartbreak haven’t stopped.
The prison guards who abused and tortured J6 prisoners still walk free.
The prosecutors and judges, FBI agents and more who knowingly, willfully violated the Constitutional rights of J6 Americans haven’t paid a price for it.
There need to be investigations, indictments, trials, and convictions of these people.
And like I told you recently, my law firm has an enormous number of new cases coming in.
We need more lawyers, paralegals, investigators and more to take our fight for J6 patriots to the next level.
And frankly, we’re stretched to the absolute breaking point.
