John,
The Israeli government just cut off electricity for 2 million Palestinians living in Gaza.
Gaza is already a living hell - tens of thousands of Palestinians have been slaughtered, starved and bombed, yet despite the ceasefire, Israel won’t let up - cutting off food, medicine and now electricity for millions of desperate people.
The Israeli government’s cruelty knows no bounds. It’s clear it won’t let up on this genocide, ceasefire or not.
Let’s raise a huge public outcry affirming Palestine’s right to exist. If we don’t, Israel, backed by Trump, will continue to strangle the life out of Gaza, and tens of thousands more Palestinians will die.
Join the public declaration for Palestine’s right to exist.
Arab leaders are mobilising to come up with a plan for Gaza and negotiations are supposed to continue on a second phase of the ceasefire. But the Israeli government continues to wage its genocidal campaign by blocking life-giving aid.
Already 146 countries recognise the state of Palestine, with nine countries joining the list in 2024. Now pressure is mounting in a few countries like the UK, France, and Japan to follow suit.
Our community has been working tirelessly with lawyers, researchers, and finance experts to stop corporations fueling the genocide. Recognition of Palestinian statehood brings us one step closer to that, especially in key countries like the UK and France where companies like AXA, BNP Paribas and Barclays are headquartered.
If the world looks away, Israel will continue to act with impunity, but if tens of thousands of people join the call to back Palestine’s right to exist, we can help pile international pressure on Israel. But this will only work if we all do it.
Add your name to world leaders: Palestine has a right to exist
