Heads up, America: Congress is about to make a major move that could hit our communities where it hurts. Last night, the House passed a Continuing Resolution (CR) that slices $13 billion from essential services that help keep us healthy, housed, and thriving. And unless we speak up, the Senate could sign off on this dangerous plan.

Urgent call to action: Tell the Senate to vote NO!

Here's the kicker: While they slash critical funding for things like disaster relief, clean energy, and healthcare, they're tossing an extra $6 billion into defense spending. Oh, and they're also giving the President free rein to move money around without Congressional approval. Translation? Less oversight, more uncertainty, and our communities left hurting and helpless.

Here’s only a few of the egregious cuts we will lose if this passes:

• Healthcare: Brutal cuts to veterans' care, women's health services, and essential workforce training—putting lives at risk and undermining public health when it matters most.
