Hi Friend,

As the only eye care nonprofit delivering sight-saving programs in over 200 countries and territories, Orbis International is on a mission to save sight around the world—regardless of gender.

A staggering 90% of vision loss is treatable or preventable. But there are still over 1 billion people living with some form of vision loss—and the majority of them are girls and women.

We need supporters like you to help women and girls access the eye care they need by donating to Orbis today. ([link removed])

Friend, preventing vision loss shouldn’t be a gender issue.

And yet there are more women than men living with vision loss in every category of vision impairment. Girls and women are:
* 8% more likely to be blind
* 12% more likely to have vision loss
* Less likely to receive cataract surgeries, despite being more likely to be affected by cataracts than men
* More likely to be affected by trachoma trichiasis—the world’s leading infectious cause of blindness

Friend, we know you believe girls and women deserve equal access to eye health services, so please consider making a tax-deductible gift today. ([link removed])

Your generous support will reach so many girls and women in need.

In gratitude and partnership,

Team Orbis
