Last month I sent out a survey asking what your priorities for Philly are in 2025. I looked at the responses and I heard you loud and clear, John.
Some of the top issues I saw were around public safety and cleaning our city — acknowledging the work we’ve done so far and excitement as our administration continues our focus on these issues. I also read feedback about how important it is to address our City's need for more housing and greater economic opportunities, both issues I will continue to tackle head-on this year.

Last year, we saw the steepest rate of decline for violent crime in Philly. We’re already starting to see the impact of our new public safety plan, and our work won’t stop until every neighborhood in our city feels safe again.
Another one of my major priorities is making sure Philly becomes the cleanest big city in the nation. Last year I launched a citywide cleanup program, and I’m excited to continue seeing these initiatives continue to tidy up our sidewalks.
