A national Republican super PAC just attacked me. This is the first time I’ve faced such an attack while in Congress.
Frankly, this was expected. I am one of very few Democrats to have flipped a red seat back in November. That has made me an instant, early target for the GOP.
You’d think they’d have their hands full with chaos surrounding the Trump-Musk agenda, but it’s clear they are locked in on 2026, and ready to continue their deceptive tactics.
These attacks hit a bit differently now that I’m in Congress. Right now, I’m laser-focused on doing right by my constituents in CA-27. The fact is, I have less time for fundraising and warding off attacks like these.
