Dear John,

Wow! More than 12,000 of you have signed our petition calling for a National Commission on Electoral Reform in just one week.

Thank you so much for your support!

With Nigel Farage’s party now leading in the polls, we can see just how dangerous First Past The Post can be.

The last General Election showed how just 33% of the vote can secure over 63% of the seats.

With Farage’s party already up to 29% in the polls, who knows what could happen by the next General Election.

I firmly believe that the vast majority of British people are compassionate and forward-looking. In fact, polls show this to be the case.

Time after time we see that taking bold action to tackle the climate emergency, investing in our NHS, addressing the cost of living crisis, and even rejoining the European Union receive overwhelming public support.

First Past The Post is distorting election results, silencing millions of voters, and fuelling distrust in politics. If we want to stop the rot that’s destroying our country, we need to stop FPTP wasting millions of our votes.

Please sign our petition calling for a National Commission on Electoral Reform, the crucial next step in our plan to secure Proportional Representation before the next General Election:
