Dear Friends-
I hope you are enjoying the first three weeks of President Trump's second term as much as I am!
We have seen Tulsi Gabbard and Robert Kennedy Jr confirmed and join the America First administration and are excitedly anticipating the appointment of Linda McMahon to the Department of Education so that we can start cleaning house and redeeming the public school system across the country.
Last Friday, we saw dramatic displays from the left, banging on the doors, demanding to be let into the US Dept of Education.
This would have been an understandable event, had it occurred three weeks ago when the National Academic Report Card came out and exposed the abysmal truth that nearly 2/3 of our students are not reading or doing math at grade level. These horrible scores are the lowest on record in the last 30 years!
We might have EXPECTED our elected officials to DEMAND ANSWERS from the $238 Billion Department of Education. We may have even CHEERED if these legislators were (FINALLY) demanding accountability, but that is NOT what the enraged Democrats were angry about.
No, these people were demanding MONEY.
As usual, they are silent regarding academic excellence, school safety or the chronic teacher shortage, but when they are facing the thought of losing a financial stake in the education cabal, they come out swinging with inflammatory accusations and fear mongering to disguise corruption and incompetence.
The National Alliance for Education Reform went to DC on Monday to hold a press conference and to celebrate President Trump's plan to Make Education Great Again.
Below, you can watch the speech that I gave in front of the Departmnet of Education and an article from the Carolina Journal detailing the trip.
