The 2024 Election showed us an alarming trend that could impact our race in November. Donald Trump gained ground across the country, including in key counties across Virginia.

This election was a crucial test for Democrats as we approach my race in November 2025. National Republicans are feeling the momentum after Trump’s win, and they think that 2025 will be a key opportunity to keep this Governor’s seat red. We can’t afford to let Donald Trump and his allies gain any more ground.

We must demonstrate that Virginia is not turning its back on progress or on our neighbors. We must have the resources to continue our campaign for stronger schools, safer communities, and lower costs for Virginia families. And we must show that we can build a future that brings people together and listens to the challenges facing all Virginians.

National Republican groups and GOP leadership will work relentlessly to defeat us. We need to build a strong foundation now.
