Earlier this week, I joined my colleagues at the Department of Commerce to demand answers on the cuts proposed to the National Weather Service. I refuse to sit back while a war is being waged against science and facts.
 
In case you missed it, I delivered Democrats’ first weekly address of the 119th Congress. I highlighted the need to help those affected by wildfires here in Southern California. Click here to watch my full statement.
 
I met with the Saugus California Teachers Association to discuss the challenges facing our educators. The active threat to the Department of Education cannot be ignored, and we must listen to those who stand to lose the most.
 
Last month, I met with the Santa Clarita City Manager and Assistant City Manager to discuss collaborative approaches to addressing federal priorities. Bringing resources to Santa Clarita and the entire district is a top priority.
 
There’s a whole lot more to be done. I hope you’ll stick with me by chipping in $3 or any amount as we take on this administration and get things done for our communities.
