You will start by printing out a photo of a barn swallow and tracing it using copy paper (available from any art store). With the correct proportions and eye placement, you are already off to a great start. During class, you will follow along with Ronna as she guides us on how to mix the colors and apply them to mimic nature. Art is an excellent way to de-stress, be more present, and take a closer look at the detail of birds. Painting also can make you a better birder as you will get to know the barn swallow over this 90-minute class. $25 for members, $35 for non-members.
