Susie Wiles: First woman to serve as White House Chief of Staff in U.S. history Kristi Noem: First woman elected Governor of South Dakota Pam Bondi: First woman elected Attorney General of Florida Lori Chavez-DeRemer: First Republican woman elected to Congress from Oregon Brooke Rollins: Second woman to serve as U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tulsi Gabbard: First female combat veteran to serve as Director of National Intelligence Kelly Loeffler: First woman elected to the Senate from Georgia in nearly 100 years Elise Stefanik: First woman elected to represent New York's 21st Congressional District and the youngest woman elected to Congress at the time McMahon Confirmed Linda McMahon, former head of the Small Business Administration and longtime friend of Winning For Women, was confirmed by the U.S. Senate last week as the next Secretary of Education. With decades of leadership in business and public service, McMahon is the perfect choice to tackle the federal bureaucracy that has been failing many of America's children for decades. Immediately after she was sworn in, McMahon emailed her staff asking them to prepare for "Our Department's Final Mission." She outlined the need to remove red tape and bureaucratic barriers with the goal of empowering parents to make the best educational choices for their children. Chavez-DeRemer Confirmed Lori Chavez-DeRemer, who President Trump chose to be his next Secretary of Labor, was confirmed by the U.S. Senate earlier this week. She easily secured a bipartisan majority of support with 67 senators voting in favor of her confirmation.
