Wednesday, March 19

2:00–3:15 PM ET

Online (Zoom)

Women living with Parkinson’s often experience unique symptoms, face distinct challenges, and have different care needs than their male counterparts — yet they remain underrepresented in research, care, and support services. This webinar will explore how Parkinson’s symptoms and medication responses differ for women, the barriers they face in accessing care and treatment, practical strategies for living well with Parkinson’s, and personal stories of strength, resilience, and community connection. It's time to change the conversation and create better support for women with Parkinson’s.

Hear from:

  • Dr. Indu Subramanian, a neurologist and leading advocate for improving care and support for women with Parkinson’s, who will share key insights and strategies for living well with Parkinson’s as a woman.
  • Li Jiang, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at 21 and recently biked across North America to raise awareness, will share her personal journey and lessons learned.
  • Sylvie Parent, a retired police officer and Parkinson’s advocate, who will discuss her experience managing Parkinson’s while balancing life as a mother, professional, and community advocate.

Join us on Wednesday, March 19 from 2:00 to 3:15 PM Eastern Time for our webinar.

This webinar is free and open to anyone impacted by Parkinson’s or interested in learning more about how it affects women.
