ASAP's Appalachian Grown Gathering, April 25, Yesterday Spaces
Please join ASAP on Friday April 25th, from 5-8:30 p.m. for An Appalachian Grown Gathering. ASAP’s biennial fundraising event features local chefs and farms in a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Plus, this is an opportunity to gather together to celebrate local agriculture and re-energize ourselves through conversation, shared values, and good food. We hope you can join us!

Rescheduled due to Hurricane Helene, this event is now in the spring—a season of renewal and rebirth. The event will feature local farms and diverse chefs that source locally. Chefs include Nick Barr of Chai Pani, Ashley Capps of New Stock Pantry, Matt Farr and Erica Beneke of Red Fiddle Vittles, Brian Hitch of Buncombe County Schools, Chue Lee of Lee’s One Fortune Farm; Luis Martinez of Tequio Foods, and Josh Weeks of SingleTree Heritage Kitchen.

The event is hosted at Yesterday Spaces, a special Leicester venue with ties to Gaining Ground Farm. You’ll enjoy a cocktail hour with live music and silent auction in a historic dairy barn. Then you’ll join us for a tapas-style dinner of four small plates and a plated dessert. You’ll have the opportunity to chat with the chefs and farmers that created each dish, as well as catch up with one another, ASAP staff, and community supporters, all while having some incredible food.

If you’d like to attend you can purchase your ticket today!
  • $145 per seat
  • $1,000 for a whole table of 8
Tickets are available online and are limited.

We’re also looking for table captains to take a lead role at a table of 8. If you have a group you’d like to invite (book club; friends from a faith community; neighbors; family friends; etc), email Development Director Nora Scheff, [email protected] to learn more about what being a table captain looks like. You and your guests can get a discount of $20/seat if you go in on a table together.

Thank you for supporting local food and farms. We look forward to sharing this special evening with you!
