Governor Beshear announced over $2.1 million for public safety projects around our state and launched 7 high-ground housing communities to protect Eastern Kentucky residents in flood zones.
In Frankfort, Representative Adam Moore's bill to cap EpiPen costs at $100 per year is moving forward, and Representative Joshua Watkins introduced a $100 million investment in affordable housing. Senator Cassie Chambers Armstrong passed legislation giving students and parents more information about reporting child abuse, while Senator David Yates is working to protect veterans from predatory fees.
Congressman Morgan McGarvey co-sponsored the Protect Veteran Jobs Act to reinstate thousands of veterans fired in federal layoffs and held three town halls with over 1,000 constituents while Kentucky Republicans remain hidden.
