Dear Friends,

The Livable Frederick Master Plan is central to Frederick County’s identity. 
We share a vision for a vibrant and unique community where people live, work, and thrive while enjoying a strong sense of place and belonging. 

And we need your help to move this vision closer to reality!

Frederick County will hold three open houses where you can help shape our future through three new plans - the Housing Element, the Historic Preservation Plan, and the Green Infrastructure Plan. The open houses will be:

Thursday, March 13, at the Thurmont Regional Library

Wednesday, March 26, at the Middletown Branch Library

Monday, April 7, at the Urbana Regional Library

Each open house will run from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. The content will be identical, so you only need to participate in one session to stay informed and offer feedback.

Planning for more affordable housing, historic preservation, and green infrastructure is critical to our quality of life. I hope you will make your voice heard at one of these open houses!
