Nikki was on News Central this morning to discuss the Trump Administration’s failure to make good on his campaign promises to fix our economy. Instead, he is imposing reckless tariffs on our allies — that would have detrimental effects on the prices of everyday goods, auto parts and cars, and resources that we use to make housing more affordable. Here’s what she had to say:

“Tariffs can be used as a scalpel to incentivize more American manufacturing in the steel industry and support American workers. But the way the Trump administration is going about this — imposing blanket tariffs on some of our stronger trade partners like Canada — that’s going to negatively impact our economy…
[The Trump administration] said they were going to be bringing down costs. They are doing literally the exact opposite of that."
