We founded our legal initiative, True North Legal, led by attorney Renee Carlson (who serves as General Counsel) to protect and defend Minnesotans' values in the courts and legislature. John, fighting to protect children and parents from the harmful onslaught of gender ideology is nothing new for True North Legal! Since its inception, True North Legal has faithfully fought and won for life, family, and religious freedom.
This past year alone, in 2024, True North Legal has been on the front lines of the battle for our children, parental rights, and religious liberty when the state pitted itself against parents, children, and religious leaders by asserting gender identity as the most important right. -
True North Legal represented a group of St. Louis Park families when their school district unsuccessfully tried to overstep parent’s authority in denying parents request to opt-out young elementary school children from lessons promoting LGBTQ ideology inconsistent with the families’ religious beliefs.

Alongside local allies, True North Legal also successfully advocated to restore protections for religious freedom in the Minnesota Human Rights Act at the state legislature.
