I am John Goodman—a father, a veteran, and a lifelong proud Illinoisan. I enlisted in the U.S. Air Force 27 years ago because I believed in America's potential. I fought alongside brave men and women who always had each other’s backs.

But today, I see an America I barely recognize. Our rights are under attack. Our children are being failed. Our cities are unsafe. Our values are being erased. And for me, it’s more than politics—it’s personal.

I lost my son to the woke left. 💔

He struggled with mental health and turned to the system for help. Instead of receiving the care he truly needed, he was pushed into a life-changing decision—encouraged, without consideration, to transition. Feeling confused and vulnerable, he was lured into a homeless shelter offering free transition services. And just like that, my son was gone.

This madness has to stop.

That’s why I’m running for the U.S. Senate—to fight for the next generation, to protect our families, and to put an end to this insanity. My mission is clear: stand up for veterans, restore justice and fairness, strengthen community safety, and ensure every Illinoisan has the opportunity to thrive. I’m not just running—I’m ready to serve again, fighting for a stronger, more prosperous Illinois.

We The People deserve better than Dick Durbin. We deserve someone who is ready to fight for the people of Illinois. Someone who isn't looking to be a lifetime career politician (Dick Durbin has been serving in the Federal Government since I was 2). I will sign the Term Limits Pledge. I will fight for tax breaks, and fiscal responsibility with balancing the Federal budget. I will fight to get the government's nose out of our personal business. I will fight for small businesses. I will fight to protect our children and our veterans.
