After we sent our last email out we were notified that there actually is a grocery tax repeal bill out there that has been presented to the chair of the House Revenue and Taxation committee, David Cannon. It has also, apparently been read by Senator Anthon, the Senate Pro Tempore, Senator Ricks, and Senator Grow.

It sat in Cannon's office for two or three weeks without a peep.


What is worse, it was written in August of 2024 and still hasn't seen the light of day in a real committee hearing.
