Labour has delivered an extra 2 million appointments.
͏
John xxxxxx,
In the run up to the election, we made a promise to deliver two million more NHS appointments within a year. We did it seven months early.
We've delivered two million extra NHS appointments since July. We are making sure that people get the care they need, when they need it.
But it’s not just about numbers. It’s about the cancer patients who are finally starting life-saving treatment. It’s the millions of people who have previously had to put their lives and livelihoods on hold, finally receiving the treatment they need and deserve.
It’s about demonstrating that politics can be a force for good.
John xxxxxx, will you help us get the message out there today?

This is an achievement worth talking about, John xxxxxx. But we’re not complacent and we know that the job isn’t done. These extra appointments are just the first step towards getting the NHS back on its feet.
Through our Plan for Change, we are:
- On the path to cutting waiting times from 18 months to 18 weeks
- Investing to deliver 40,000 more NHS appointments every week
- Opening new surgical hubs
- Opening community diagnostic centres at evenings and weekends
- Using private sector capacity to cut waiting times
Throughout Labour’s general election campaign, I invited the country to be a part of change.
Today, I’m inviting you once more. Share our message today.
Thank you,
Keir Starmer
