Appointment Changes Announced

For the next few months upcoming changes to clergy appointments will be announced routinely on the Missouri Conference website at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays. Pending appointments are posted after the local congregations have been informed about moves. Typically, appointments transition following the “Fixing of Appointments” service at the conclusion of Annual Conference Session in June, with clergy starting at their new appointments on the first Sunday of July. To read the latest list of changes, visit www.moumethodist.org/appointments.

New Lenten Small-Group on BeADisciple App

Lent is a great time for small-group Bible studies, and a new Lenten study Remember: God’s Covenants and the Cross (Abingdon Press, 2023) by United Methodist elder Rev. Susan Robb, is now available on the BeADisciple Study App. All content from the book, leader guide, and DVD – as well as the entire text of the CEB Bible – is in the app. Take notes on daily readings right in the app and share connection and prayer concerns with your group anytime during the study. Groups can even meet via Zoom directly in the app. Remember: God’s Covenants and the Cross is a six-week study. This adaptation adds an orientation session to help familiarize participants with the app. Detailed leader training is also included right in the app. The leader package price is $48; participant package price is $18. Purchase via app.BeADiscipleApp.com for this best price.
