The news is scary. But overwhelm from Trump and his allies (including Big Tech) is the point. We’re not falling for it, and with your support, we can fight back to demand safety and security online. You in? Donate now.
DONATE NOW
Hey Team –
Around this time last year, the Senate was grilling Big Tech CEOs about their responsibilities to the public – specifically, to protecting young people [1]. Now, those same Big Tech billionaires are handing over major donations to Trump [2], changing their policies to please him, and, in some cases, getting access to sensitive information across government agencies [3]. And kids’ safety is taking a back seat.
Last year, we were making bipartisan progress to make social platforms safer for young people, but unfortunately, bills like the Kids Online Safety Act didn’t pass. With Trump getting kickbacks from Big Tech in exchange for access to the Oval Office, our fight just got harder. And as critical information disappears from government websites [4], fact-checkers are removed from platforms [5], and content moderation is relaxed for hate speech [6], the internet is more dangerous for kids than it was a year ago.
It’s a lot at once. It’s scary. But that’s the point: To overwhelm you into inaction. And we’re not interested in taking the bait. So we’re going to get up and keep the fight going. We’ll show up every day and use every tool in our toolbox to hold Big Tech accountable to its users, regardless of who’s in office. It’s going to take us all together, pushing back, demanding more from Big Tech and our leaders. You with us? Fuel the fight today.
In solidarity,

We see the irony of asking you to follow us on the same platforms we’re fighting to hold accountable, but they are… well… dominant. We have to reach people where they are in order to level the playing field – and we’re ready to bring the fight right to their own platforms.
