The humanitarian crisis in Ukraine remains dire for civilians entering their fourth year of war. Mercy Corps teams and partners remain committed to doing everything we can to continue providing assistance for people in need.

Since 2022, more than 6.8 million people have fled their homeland, and another 4 million are displaced within the country. With bombs still falling and civilian infrastructure in ruins, more than 14 million still need humanitarian assistance.

Mercy Corps mobilized within days of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. We’re still here today — and we’ll stay as long as it takes.

But we need your help. Will you make a gift today to help deliver urgent relief to Ukraine and support our global efforts to help families caught in conflict, disaster, hunger, and poverty around the globe?

Emergency kit distribution in Kherson

Valentyna* picks up an emergency supply kit from the Mercy Corps team in Kherson. The kit is filled with baby supplies for her 6-month-old son. The kit includes diapers, baby lotion, baby powder, wet wipes, and children’s shampoo.

Kherson is near the frontlines of the war. The city has suffered extensive damage and continues to experience power outages and destruction. At night, Valentyna covers her baby’s ears so he won’t wake up from the sounds of explosions.

Mercy Corps is providing essential aid to civilians in need and supporting Ukraine’s agricultural sector, the backbone of its export economy. We have reached more than 860,000 people affected by the conflict in Ukraine and neighboring countries.

This work wouldn’t be possible without our teams on the ground, the resilient people of Ukraine, and generous supporters like you.

Every day, families in Ukraine and crisis zones around the world are struggling to survive. They need food, water, safe shelter, and jobs after leaving everything they know behind. Today, we’re asking our community to show up once again for families on the frontlines of conflict and disaster. Please make your gift now ▸

In solidarity,

The Mercy Corps team
