Hi,
Trump’s first administration ended internet freedom protections by getting
rid of Net Neutrality. Now, his Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is
attacking just about every reliable news outlet: PBS, NPR, and major
network broadcasters like NBC.^1
Last week, Trump banned the Associated Press from his Oval Office briefing
with Elon Musk because the news outlet won’t replace Gulf of Mexico with
“Gulf of America.”^2 It’s a blatant attempt to get the press in line with
whatever Trump wants — or else.
Trump and Musk won’t stop until they control the flow of all news and
information, unless our leaders step up to stop them.

After the AP was banned from the briefing, the White House Press Secretary
said, "I was very up front in my briefing on Day One that if we feel that
there are lies being pushed by outlets in this room, we are going to hold
those lies accountable."^3 The White House is making their threats
perfectly clear and trying to create a chilling effect on any criticism
from journalists.
Trump and Musk will continue to do everything they can to attack the media
and internet freedom. Congress must take a stand to protect the free
press, funding for public broadcasters like PBS and NPR, and fight back
against the right-wing attempt to control the news.

freedom over Trump censorship!
