I fought for years to make this office a reality. Lives were SAVED because of it.

And just like that, years of advocacy and organizing work to end gun violence in our country were destroyed by Trump.

I will NEVER give up on the fight to save lives and end gun violence. I just need to stay in Congress to make the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention a reality again AND make it permanent so no president can abolish it in the future.

Introducing a bill to create the Office of Gun Violence Prevention was my first act in Congress.

Republicans blocked the bill (surprise surprise!), but thankfully, President Biden stepped in and established the office himself.

But now, all the progress we’ve made is at risk, and we know this is just the start. Trump is going to choose guns over people nonstop over the next four years. That’s why it’s more important that I have the resources to stay in Congress and keep the fight going.
