It may be the dog days of summer, but with TWO big special elections just two days away, grassroots Democrats in Pennsylvania and South Carolina aren't letting the summer heat slow them down.

In Pennsylvania's 85th House District, volunteers are working hard to elect Democrat Jenn Rager-Kay, a physician who's always put the people in rural Pennsylvania first. As the daughter of a coal miner, she'll be a powerful advocate for working families in the state House.

Meanwhile in South Carolina's 19th House District, grassroots Democrats are braving the southern heat and humidity to carry Carrie Counton to victory. For 10 years, Carrie has devoted herself to higher education – and in the state House, she's determined to be a champion for South Carolina's public schools.

Jenn, Carrie, and an army of amazing Democratic volunteers are working their hearts out to win TOUGH special elections in districts where Republicans are used to no opposition. We need to make sure they know they're not fighting alone.
