You don’t have to be anti-Second Amendment to recognize that this country has a persistent and serious problem with gun violence and mass shootings.

And it doesn’t make you anti-freedom to think that the solution to gun violence is not flooding our communities with even more guns and less tools to prevent shootings.

MAGA lunatics like my opponent, Randy Fine, think that everyone should be prepared at all times to fire a gun or be shot by one. To NRA goons like him, it’s kill or be killed.

That’s why he is fighting to expand concealed carry on college campuses, claiming it is necessary to combat “Muslim terror”:

In a culture of fear, it is easier to exploit division and foster suspicion of our fellow Americans. That’s exactly how Trump and his MAGA cronies want us: frightened, angry, and ready to give up power to fake macho strongmen for “protection.”

But while politicians like Fine who are bought and sold by the NRA push this horrific vision of America, most voters don’t want this. Huge majorities support common sense measures to prevent gun violence and promote safety and security in public.

Our opponent is an extremist who will make us less safe everywhere: even in churches and schools. Josh Weil is a public school teacher who will fight to make schools safe for our kids.
