Now that I’m a dad of two daughters I often make the joke that for me, the future really is female. I will admit to seeing things a bit differently these days.
Good schools, accessible healthcare, and safe neighborhoods mean that my daughters can grow into their full potential. It’s not hypothetical to me.
That’s why I get so frustrated when I see MAGA Republicans pushing extreme policies to defund the Department of Education, restrict women’s reproductive rights, and take away access to healthcare.
It makes me so angry to know that their radical agenda will negatively impact my daughters, and I am more determined than ever to fight back.
