President Trump likes to think of himself as a protector of women. He’s even said it outright: “I think women like me because I will be your protector....The women want protection.” ¹

Protection like filling his cabinet with men who have been accused of sexual assault, just like him?

Protection like letting pregnant people suffer complications or die because they can no longer safely access abortion care?

Protection like attacking the very existence of transgender women? Like freezing funding to rape crisis centers? Like eliminating programs that help women enter and stay in the workforce? Like throwing out longstanding prohibitions of sex discrimination at work? Like weakening protections against sex harassment in schools?
