It’s okay if you’re feeling a bit shell-shocked after a month of Trump and Elon Musk’s relentless “flood the zone” campaign to demoralize and subdue us with a relentless onslaught of illegal actions, heartless cruelty, mass firings and scandal after scandal after scandal.

Now Trump is executing an illegal power grab by trying to cut trillions of dollars in federal funding and shutting down entire federal agencies, and the effects are already being felt around the country. Head Start programs have been forced to shutter. Decades of research are at risk as scientists at NIH get laid off and their budgets slashed. Our national parks are being neglected and working families could lose their homes as housing programs run out of funds.

Tell Congress to oppose Trump’s cuts to federal programs!

But it’s important to remember that Democrats are fighting back — and we’re winning. Governors like Josh Shapiro and Gavin Newsom have stopped a slew of Trump’s worst orders with lawsuits, and there’s a huge opportunity to bring the fight to Trump in the negotiations over the must-pass government funding bill in the next few weeks.

It’s time to make our voices heard and make sure Congress knows that we won’t stand for this outrageous overreach by Trump and his billionaire cronies.
