John,

Watching my good friend, former Secretary Deb Haaland, launch her historic campaign to become our nation's first  governor to identify as a Native American woman was a deeply moving experience.

With the Trump administration attacking First People, words cannot express how overjoyed and proud we are to see one of our own launching such a great campaign.

Deb will fight for all people, and I'm committed to doing everything I possibly can to help her win and make history.

Can I count on you to pitch in a split donation between Deb's historic campaign for governor and me? As we all know, Deb will be attacked for trying to make history, and we must have her back.  [link removed]-

As a member of Congress and former Secretary of the Interior Haaland has never shied away from being a strong voice for all tribal nations and the people of New Mexico on a wide variety of issues, including job creation, public safety, land management, clean energy, economic development, and social justice.

When I needed her support as President of the Navajo Nation, Deb never hesitated to do what had to be done.

Her ability to weigh the issues from economic, social, and political standpoints is unique, and we rarely get a chance to support such a great leader.

That's why I'm asking: can I count on you to join me in supporting Deb's campaign? [link removed]-

Onward,

Jonathan Nez
