Happy March y’all! We’ve got a busy month ahead of us, and the Meck YRs are excited to have you be a part of it. Join us at one of our upcoming events and get inspired by the Madness of March by joining our tournament bracket pool (coming soon!). Next week, join us for our Luck O’ the Meck YRs Happy Hour at Goldie’s (wearing green is encouraged!). We’re also excited to have Turning Point Action’s Isaiah Payne join us for MYR Trivia Night on March 27 at Dilworth Grille. We can’t wait to see you soon!

Congratulations to new Mecklenburg GOP Chairman Kyle Kirby and the rest of the new Meck GOP Board! The election took place last weekend at the county convention, which many YRs attended. Thanks to both Kyle and former Vice-Chair David Merrill for their service to the community, the party and their willingness to step up to the plate and seek election!
Also, a huge thank you to Charlotte City Council Member Tariq Bokhari for joining us at our February Meeting! We had a great discussion about making an impact on state and local policymaking through targeted engagement with elected leaders. We look forward to the YRs getting out and supporting Tariq in this year’s upcoming City Council race!
