Hey team, I'm incredibly frustrated by the partisan politics holding up coronavirus relief efforts.

FIRST: The House passed the Heroes Act to continue to provide
states and cities, families, small businesses, and hospitals with
the relief they need to survive the COVID-19 crisis.

THEN: Mitch McConnell refused to bring it to the Senate for a
vote, calling the bill a "totally unserious effort" and a
"seasonal catalog of left-wing oddities."

NOW: Republicans say that before we give a dime of much-needed
relief to communities in peril because of COVID-19, Congress must
first give broad immunity to giant corporations who put employees
in harm's way by failing to take public health precautions to
keep them safe.

They're holding relief efforts hostage to help their
billionaire friends, and I know this grassroots team won't stand
for it.
