So it doesn’t make sense that Donald Trump and Elon Musk are threatening the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Trump and Elon have always bowed down to Big Oil. Now, over 1,000 EPA employees have been told to stay home and prepare to be “fired immediately” so the fossil fuel industry can wreak even more havoc on our environment.

Worse yet, the programs being dismantled are responsible for measuring the impact of burning fossil fuels.
|
|
Weakening the EPA will only hurt working Americans — especially Black and Brown communities that are already vulnerable to the worst parts of the climate crisis.
|
|
Our communities deserve clean air and fresh water, not Big Oil’s filth. But unless we speak up, the EPA will be completely gutted and filled with Trump and Elon’s fossil fuel buddies.

We can’t let that happen.
